We had come to know Randy as a neighbor over the past 10 years of home-ownership in
Watercolor, and so when a new house came on the market that we were interested in, his
was the first and only call we needed to make. Randy was very responsive to our requests
for a first and second showing, honestly and candidly discussed the pluses and minuses of
the home we were interested in, talked us through the purchase process, and became our
own private psychologist as we worked through the mental and emotional decision to
make an offer. He then was active in the negotiations, guiding and advising us all the way
through, and then from there to closing. He’d probably just as soon I not add this part, but
as only part-time residents, he also became an invaluable and trusted “errand boy”,
meeting inspectors and service and delivery people to let them in the house and supervise
their activities when we were not able to be there from our home in Ohio. Perhaps to his
consternation – but he swears not! – that role has continued long beyond the closing, and
he’s never complained once! Full service!
And of course with the purchase of one new home comes the task of selling an existing
home – and in our case, an empty lot we had purchased to build on as well. And Randy has
taken on that challenge with as much professionalism as he took on the purchase.
Preparing both listings, marketing, photos, etc... is no small task, but it has all been hands-
off for us. We discuss pricing and marketing strategy regularly, and we feel confident that
he is always acting in our best interest. The house is open for potential buyers often, and he
and his team are always present and making the house look its best. Yes, our two
properties are still on the market, but still well within the average selling time statistically,
even during the slow winter months, so we know we’ll begin to see more activity and a sale
(or two) soon!
So do we recommend Randy Carroll and his team for both buy-side and sale-side
transactions? Absolutely. He has been great to work with, and we know we continue to be
in great hands.
